A couple of small but essential firmware and app updates are available on the RaceCapture software downloads page that addresses a couple of key issues:
v2.8.1 Firmware
We fixed a case where some of the time the Bluetooth module fails to be initialized, resulting in garbled data sent to the app. the 2.8.1 firmware addresses this problem.
v1.3.1 App
On some platforms the app may crash after a period of use. the 1.3.1 app release addresses this issue. This was primarily seen on Windows computers with multiple processor cores.
We also snuck in a fix for the dashboard so that laptimes are shown properly in all cases.
Beta Test the latest on Android!
We’ve also pushed the v1.3.1 the google play store as Beta. To participate in the Beta, follow the instructions at the top of the Autosport Labs Beta Testers google groups page.
