Dome, NACA intake, lights and a billion rivets

We love rivets. Rivets are fun. We don’t know when to stop using them- so we usually add 2-3x more rivets than necessary. Really, is there such a thing as too many rivets? Clearly, we will claiming rivets in our race car budget.

Brain Dome

When you put tall people into little cars you have to accommodate them with proper roll cage augmentation. If you want to keep them dry in our crappy NW weather… well- you have to make some body modifications! Behold:

NACA duct

Experiencing endorphin withdrawals from riveting,  Scott decided to fab up a NACA duct just for fun. It looks damn cool!

Atmosphere, you are on notice.

More rivets and aluminum tape! We love the aluminum tape too.

Lighting!

Our Not-quite-running-240z(after receiving the triple weber heart transplant) donated a set of Hella H4 headlights to the cause. A set of Hella 500ff lights round out the lighting. A light bar from a previous 25 hour of Thunderhill endurance racer was obtained and bolted in. Woo!

  1. Is that safe in a crash? Won’t your helmet smack that nice sharp corner between the bubble and the roof?
