AIM mychron real-time telemetry integration cable kit

AIM system and PodiumConnect/Micro pictured are not included

The AIM Mychron series dashboards are compatible with the PodiumConnect/Micro real-time telemetry system, but requires additional an additional external power connection.  This kit includes the following parts:

• AIM integration patch cable
• Mini CAN bus splitter
• Power + CAN pigtail

Note: this cable kit is only needed for AIM Mychron systems – Other AIM dashboards only require the AIM integration cable.

Connecting:

• Plug the AIM integration cable into the Mychron or the AIM data hub
• Plug the PodiumConnect/Micro to the mini splitter
• Plug the AIM integration cable into one of the ports of the mini splitter
• Plug the power + CAN pigtail into the other port of the min splitter
• Connect the power + CAN pigtail to your vehicle’s 12v power

After these steps are completed, proceed with the telemetry setup as usual.

Mychron 6 notes:
Mychron 6 systems require a connected SmartyCam system to correctly broadcast CAN bus data, which is needed for PodiumConnect to broadcast real-time telemetry.

AIM Mychron 5 and older do not have this limitation: CAN bus is enabled by default, without requiring a connected SmartyCam.
