Real-time telemetry for your ECUMaster, AIM, MoTeC, VBOX, Lowrance, or other data system
Live-stream your race and use the real-time strategy features to help you win
Use PodiumConnect to send real-time telemetry to Podium from your existing data acquisition system. Compatible with ECUMaster, AIM, MoTeC, VBOX, Lowrance, and many other CAN-enabled data systems.
Works with your hotspot or satellite internet, such as Starlink
The WiFi telemetry connection ensures world-wide connectivity – just use an in-car hotspot you provide. Works with a cellular hotspot or satellite based internet, such as Starlink mini and similar networks.
Real-time racing strategy
Reviewing data after the race is old-school. Use real-time data to make a difference during the race, when it matters!
Monitor Engine vitals
Catch emerging issues before they become costly race-ending failures. Keep an eye on Engine Temperature, Oil Temperature, Oil Pressure, Battery voltage, Transmission Temperature, Coolant Pressure, Tire Pressure, Fuel Pressure – any sensor available from your ECU and other sources.
You can also configure your Podium app to get alerts on these sensors in the pit, and after the race you can review historical data to see where and when the problem happened, correlated with position on track and other sensor data.
Track which driver is in the car
Use a compatible Bluetooth device (sold separately) to track which driver is in the car. The Driver ID shows up in the telemetry data, making it easy to identify who’s driving, making it easy to compare laps and data between team members.
How it works: each driver has a Bluetooth device on their person – such as a Bluetooth tag or wrist mounted heart rate monitor. PodiumConnect will detect which device is present in the cockpit of the vehicle and assign the current driver to the current telemetry stream.
Get heart rate with compatible heart rate monitor
If you’re using a compatible heart rate sensor (sold separately) you will get heart rate as a bonus telemetry channel in addition to Driver ID!
Chassis Development
With compatible sensors such as the TireX tire temperature sensors, GForce, and Gyro sensors you can plan changes to your suspension while the car is on track, for fast turn-arounds.
Real-time driver coaching
Coach your driver in real-time, selecting a reference lap against a live lap (green). Post-event “download and review” sessions are old-school and obsolete!
You can also perform valuable time-gap analysis to see where time is gained or lost, as soon as the data is livestreamed to Podium.
Compare and share data
Use Podium to effortlessly compare and share laps with your team, your past events, and even other racers
Endurance Racing strategy features
Podium offers enhanced endurance racing strategy tools (Pro subscription plan required) to track fuel consumption for optimal lap time and fuel strategy so you can plan your pit stops with precision. Avoid late and time-consuming fuel stops that will cost you the race win!
Stream up to 100 sensor channels
A CAN 2.0 compliant interface let you connect your compatible AIM, MoTeC, VBOX, Lowrance, or other CAN-enabled data systems to live-stream sensor data. Here are some examples:
- High performance GPS from your existing data system
- Speed data
- G-forces and gyro data from your existing data system
- Multi-zone tire temperature sensors
- TPMS sensors
- Engine sensors such as oil pressure, engine temperature, RPM, throttle position, and more
- Thermocouple arrays
- Aero / Strain gauges
- Ride height sensors
- Driver input such as steering angle and brake pressure
Built-in lap timing calculations
PodiumConnect automatically calculates predictive lap timing, including tracking best lap for tracking purposes.
GoPro camera control
PodiumConnect can control your GoPro Camera (supported up to GoPro7) for automatic start/stop of video recording
Easy to use presets
It’s simple to map CAN data channels from a variety of sources:
- Data systems such as ECUMaster, AIM, MoTeC, VBOX, Lowrance, and other stytems
- OEM CAN bus networks such as BMW E46, Porsche, Miata, GM-LAN, and more.
- ECU data directly from AEM, Hondata, Emtron, Link, Haltech, PE3, Megasquirt, and more
- Connect sensor networks such as the TireX tire temperature sensors
All at the touch of a button!
Single cable for connectivity
Just connect Power, ground, and the data connection to your data acquisition system, then run the setup wizard to get started!
Plug and Play for AIM
Our AIM variant has a plug and play option for the AIM hub, using the AIM standard 5 pin Binder connection.
