Soon after the release of MK1 2.8.6 went out the door, we got a note from a long time user about an issue in our log file writing. Impossible we thought, we had this covered in our tests. Well… turns out we had a bug. A buffer-overflow to be precise; one that happened to sneak by the tests. And since this bug effects the logging functionality needed for local analysis, it was deemed high priority.

So a patch has been created and we are happy to announce the 2.8.7 firmware for MK1. While we were at it we also addressed a units issue where altitude was being reported in Meters instead of Ft. Enjoy.
